Governor Moore And Lieutenant Governor Miller Announce $2M Raised And $8M Cash-On-Hand
Today, Moore-Miller for Maryland announced another massive fundraising period, raising over $2 million. The campaign enters the home stretch of the election with a staggering $8 million cash-on-hand.
“Governor Moore and Lieutenant Governor Miller’s grassroots army has put them in a position to win big in November and ensure Maryland is competing up and down the ballot in every corner of the state,” said Senior Communications Adviser Carter Elliott, IV. “This campaign’s momentum has been powered by the nearly 17,000 Marylanders that have pitched in to ensure we send Gov. Moore and Lt. Gov. Miller back to Annapolis to keep growing our economy, continue delivering record drops in violent crime, and build upon a five year high in reading and math test scores.”
Moore-Miller for Maryland continues to show major grassroots strength by amassing nearly 17,000 unique Maryland donors this cycle. This was the campaign’s best grassroots fundraising period this cycle— 95% of the campaign’s contributors were grassroots donors and nearly half of those contributors were first-time donors.
Organizations and Unions across the state and nation have joined this campaign’s momentum by endorsing Gov. Moore and Lt. Gov. Miller for reelection. To date, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, 1199SEIU, American Federation of Government Employees, Maryland League of Conservation Voters, Maryland REALTORS®, Maryland International Association of Fire Fighters, Maryland’s largest union, the Maryland State Education Association, the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), Win With Black Men, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 500, as well as Democrats and Republicans from across the state have joined the team to continue building a Maryland that leaves no one behind.
