Win With Black Men Says Gov. Moore ‘Governs With Courage, Purpose, And An Unwavering Commitment To Expanding Opportunity For All People’
Win With Black Men, an organization dedicated to politically empowering and uplifting Black Men, endorsed Governor Wes Moore as he seeks reelection in Maryland.
“Since day one, I’ve told you together we will create a Maryland that leaves no one behind–with organizations like Win With Black Men at our side, we will win in November and continue the results we’ve seen in Maryland,” said Governor Wes Moore. “If this is going to be Maryland’s decade we must ensure all of our communities have access to work, wages, and wealth. It’s why under this administration that Black-owned businesses have received more than $816 million in procurement awards, funding for HBCUs has increased by nearly 60%, and that we’ve we’ve helped nearly 1,500 Black Marylanders pursue homeownership for the first time by boosting the number of mortgages offered to first-time homebuyers. Together we will build the home we dream of and a future that those who come after us deserve.”

In January, Moore-Miller for Maryland announced a record-breaking fundraising year of $7 million–the most ever raised in an off year in Maryland, and the campaign currently has a staggering $7.4 million cash-on-hand. Win With Black Men joins the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, 1199SEIU, the American Federation of Government Employees, Maryland League of Conservation Voters, Maryland REALTORS®,Maryland International Association of Fire Fighters, Maryland’s largest union, the Maryland State Education Association,Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 500, as well as Democrats and Republicans from across the state in endorsing Governor Wes Moore for reelection.
