Today, former Cecil County Executive Alan McCarthy announced his endorsement of Governor Wes Moore as he seeks reelection in 2026.
“I made a promise to every single person of this state that we would continue to deliver real results for them no matter where they live or who they voted for, and we are going to keep delivering on that promise,” said Governor Wes Moore. “I’m honored to have the support of former County Executive McCarthy as we seek to build on the creation of 65,000 new businesses, dropping violent crime to historic lows, and a five-year high in reading and math test scores. Together, we will continue working day and night to build on those results for Maryland’s working families.”
“Governor Moore has shown Maryland that he will work with anyone, regardless of party affiliation, to deliver real results for Marylanders across the state,”said former Cecil County Executive Alan McCarthy. “While politicians in Washington are working overtime to divide us, Gov.
