The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund joins a growing list of endorsers to the Wes Moore for Maryland campaign

‘Our environment is one of our most precious resources–I’ll work tirelessly every day to protect our environment, the wildlife that inhabits it, and to combat the effects of climate change,’ says Moore

BALTIMORE (Oct. 13, 2022) – Today, the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund endorsed Wes Moore in the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Election.

“Our environment is one of our most precious resources–I’ll work tirelessly every day to protect our environment, the wildlife that inhabits it, and to combat the effects of climate change,” said Wes Moore. “Addressing the effects of climate change is one of my top priorities, this is an issue that’s going to affect generations to come, and we must act boldly and quickly to mitigate the effects it’s having on our beautiful home.”

“Maryland can be a national leader in protecting clean water, putting people to work in the clean energy economy, and ensuring wildlife — from Western Maryland to the Chesapeake Bay — thrive for future generations. Wes Moore is the leader Maryland needs, and we are proud to endorse him to be the next governor of the Old Line State,” said Karla Raettig, executive director of the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund.

As governor, Wes Moore will aggressively combat the effects of climate change being seen throughout Maryland. See his full plan here
