Wes Moore slammed Dan Cox for his divisive agenda and for busing people to the January 6th Capitol Riot

BALTIMORE (Oct. 12, 2022) – Today, Wes Moore took the stage with Dan Cox for a televised debate hosted by Maryland Public Television. Moore highlighted his leave no one behind vision which focuses on boosting Maryland’s economy, making communities safer, fully funding our public schools, and protecting a woman’s right to choose.

“Maryland, this is our decade, and if we want to go boldly into the future then we need to take bold action,” said Wes Moore. “If you elect me as your Governor, I’ll work tirelessly every day to create a Maryland that leaves no one behind–a Maryland with a booming economy, safer communities, a better education system, and one where we protect a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions.”

“Tonight, Marylanders across the state saw the stakes of this election–Dan Cox’s division and far-right agenda is a danger to the future of Maryland,” said Carter Elliott IV, campaign spokesperson. “The contrast was clear tonight, Marylanders can choose between a divisive election denier or a patriotic veteran dedicated to creating a Maryland that leaves no one behind. Wes Moore will wake up every day and fight for a Maryland where everyone can succeed–one where its schools are fully funded, communities are safer, and its economy is roaring.”
