BALTIMORE (Oct. 25, 2022) – Today, Giffords endorsed Wes Moore in the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Election.
“I will work tirelessly to make our communities safer by fighting to take dangerous guns off the streets and passing much-needed public safety measures,” said Wes Moore. “I’ve served in combat, I know more than most what these weapons of war are capable of, which is exactly why I know we have to get them off our streets. The gun violence epidemic has gone on far too long in this country, and we must fight back with commonsense gun policies to curb gun violence across the state of Maryland. I’m grateful to have Giffords alongside me in this mission.”
