This week, Governor Moore announced Feast & Fettle will be bringing 250 new jobs to Maryland through a new production and distribution facility opening in Howard County. This follows the announcement just last week of another 125 jobs coming to Frederick through a New Bakery de France manufacturing Facility.
“It seems like every week we are seeing Governor Moore announcing more new jobs and new opportunities coming to the State of Maryland,” said Wes Moore for Maryland Senior Communications Adviser, Carter Elliott, IV. “In under three years the state has created more jobs than the previous administration created in eight, and after years of economic stagnation Maryland’s economy is finally moving again. Governor Moore has shown time and time again he is laser focused creating opportunity for everyone, no matter where you live in Maryland.”
In just under three years, Maryland has added nearly 100,000 jobs, more jobs than the previous administration created in eight years combined—with a strong majority of these jobs coming from the private sector. Maryland has among the lowest unemployment rates and one of the fastest job growth rates in the nation. The Moore-Miller administration has created over 35,000 new places of business and is creating about 45% more new establishments each month than in 2019, right before the pandemic.
