Governor Moore Announces $200 Million In Energy Bill Rebates

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Today, Governor Wes Moore alongside President Bill Ferguson and Speaker Adrienne Jones announced that $200 million is going back into the pockets of Marylanders across the state through energy rebates.

“Governor Moore continues to stand up for middle class families across Maryland,” said Senior Communications Adviser Carter Elliott, IV. “The governor is once again taking direct action to address Marylanders’ concerns by putting money back in their pockets with the announcement of $200 million in energy relief.”

Prior to this the governor announced the Customer Relief Fund which provided $19 million in energy rebates this past June. He also joined the Northeast States Collaborative on Interregional Transmission in issuing a joint strategic action plan to explore options to reduce energy costs across the state.

As Marylanders voice their concerns, Governor Moore is taking action in partnership with the Maryland General Assembly to ensure the people who need it most are being provided with direct relief.
