Today, Morning Consult released its latest poll showing Governor Wes Moore’s approval has risen to 61%, maintaining his position as one of the most popular governors in the nation.
“This latest poll shows the momentum Maryland is seeing, and the excitement this state has for Governor Wes Moore,” said Senior Communications Adviser Carter Elliott, IV. “After reducing homicides by 44% statewide, creating nearly 100,000 jobs along with the largest private capital investment by a single company in Maryland history, and overseeing improvements in reading and math scores in nearly every single grade level, it’s no surprise Gov. Moore continues to be one of the most popular governors in the nation.”
This poll shows a 3% increase in approval from the last Morning Consult poll done in the fall of 2025 and places Governor Wes Moore in the top 5 most popular Democratic governors.
Recently, Governor Wes Moore put forward legislation to stop price gouging at grocery stores, he introduced a bill to lower utility bills, proposed a budget that focuses on ‘safety, education and affordability,’ a former Baltimore City Police Lieutenant said he is ‘doubling down on public safety,’ and he announced Maryland overdose deaths have fallen to a 10 year low.
