Last night, Congressman Jamie Raskin sent a letter to the Maryland State Senate urging them to vote for the new congressional maps proposed by the Maryland House of Delegates.
“We are facing an existential threat to our government and Constitution that requires a nationwide response,”said Congressman Jamie Raskin. “Members of the Maryland Senate should vote for the new Congressional district map approved by the House of Delegates.”
Congressman Raskin joins many prominent leaders such as Governor Wes Moore, Senator Angela Alsobrooks, Speaker Joseline Peña-Melnyk, former Attorney General Brian Frosh, and former House Speaker Adrienne Jones in calling for the passage of HB 488.
